Frequently asked questions

Can Doli Brain modify my Dolibarr data?

No — by design. Doli Brain connects with read-only access, and every question is fully checked before anything runs. Reading your data is all it can ever do, no matter how a question is phrased.

Which AI models are supported?

Currently DeepSeek and Anthropic for cloud deployments, and Gemma for fully local (on-prem) usage. Switching providers requires changing one value in the config file — no code changes.

Does my data leave my server in on-prem mode?

No. When configured with a local model (Gemma), all inference happens on your own hardware. Questions, SQL, and results never leave your network.

Which Dolibarr versions are compatible?

Doli Brain connects to your Dolibarr database with read-only access and works with standard Dolibarr installations (v14 and above).

How does the morning KPI briefing work?

At a time you choose, Doli Brain pulls together your key numbers — cash, sales, receivables, payables and more — and sends a short, plain-language summary by email or Slack. It only ever reports the actual figures, and if one number isn't available the rest of the report still arrives.

Does it get more accurate over time?

Yes. When you confirm a good answer, Doli Brain remembers it and uses it to answer similar questions more accurately in future — securely, so it can't be tricked into learning bad examples.
